After my last journey ended not as I would have chosen, I took a break. Now I'm back looking and will use the other real estate agent as a buyer broker. What should she know about the area? Should she be aware of projected major building plans, especially industrial and road building?

I am going to look at two houses today. I'm not especially interested in living in either the rest of my life, but both would make good rentals, depending on purchase price. One backs up to an undeveloped strip next to a 4 lane road. I assume that width is there for future widening, but will the agent know that, or could she find out?

Will she have access to foreclosure properties, and all the info on them?
She is an associate broker at a local firm, has been here for over 15 years and is successful.

What does "investors/first time buyers" generally mean?
Thanks,
ofgift
