Is it better to start with LLC or just DBA?

For an investor just starting off as a wholesaler, should I start off with a DBA alone and wait to get a few wholesale deals in before getting an LLC? Or should I get an LLC from the start? I do not have any assets just yet. I've been doing research and see that there are all these fees involved in started an LLC, but I'm just starting off. Not sure what to do. Any advice? - newbie 😊
