How to find and vet property managers

Posted

Hey!

I am a pretty experienced Canadian investor looking to invest in the United States with buy-and-hold properties in TX, ND, SD, NE, TN, WY, and LA. I was wondering what tips you guys have for finding quality property managers without meeting them in person. What characteristics of a property manager you should look for, as well as what to avoid.

Thanks in advance for the advice, cheers!

@Zackarias Aitchison  Go to the Tools-->FilePlace tab on BP and search "property manager".  It will bring up a property manager questionnaire and property manager interview worksheet that are nice resources to start with to help guide you on questions to ask them.  Otherwise, lots of good threads on here about different things to look for and avoid.  Good luck!
