Looking to partner up

Hello everyone reading this. Ive been wanting to get started in rental properties for a while now and honestly I’m a bit hesitant about it. I’ve never done any deals and would like to shadow/ train under someone in my area just to get my feet wet so to speak. Like I mentioned I don’t have any experience other than what I’ve read in books. I know it’s a long shot but I figured the worst thing that could happen is I don’t get any reply’s to this post.  I’m nervous about starting out and I used to have a huge phobia of talking to people I don’t know but I’m trying to get over all that now. I want to start with a single family home and work my way up into multi family building. If you or anyone you know in the NC area preferably Charlotte, Winston-Salem, Statesville areas needs help or wants to help me get some experience under my belt please feel free to respond to this post. We could link up for a coffee and talk over everything.

real estate isnt' so hard, it just SEEMS hard

Charlotte is a popular area for real estate investors, you'll have no problem meeting people but you need to be very proactive about it. go to meetups, use the BP local area forums, and use facebook to find people who do RE.

There is no shortage of people who will help you, but they aren't looking for you, you need to look for them.

networking is NOT a natural talent, it's a skill like any other that you get better at with practice.
