Looking to partner up

Hello everyone reading this. Ive been wanting to get started in rental properties for a while now and honestly I’m a bit hesitant about it. I’ve never done any deals and would like to shadow/ train under someone in my area just to get my feet wet so to speak. Like I mentioned I don’t have any experience other than what I’ve read in books. I know it’s a long shot but I figured the worst thing that could happen is I don’t get any reply’s to this post.  I’m nervous about starting out and I used to have a huge phobia of talking to people I don’t know but I’m trying to get over all that now. I want to start with a single family home and work my way up into multi family building. If you or anyone you know in the NC area preferably Charlotte, Winston-Salem, Statesville areas needs help or wants to help me get some experience under my belt please feel free to respond to this post.
