when is it a good time to cold call probates?

Hello everyone just started a probates direct mailing campaign. Sent out my first letters about 3 weeks ago. Wanted to see if anyone has any advice on when it would it be a good time to cold call the list. Would now in the beginning when they just filed for probate be a good time or should I wait to do it towards the middle of my DM campaign or at the end? Thank you in advance for any replies
