Are Real Estate Licenses Recommended?

Tyler Sipe
Posted

I am just getting started in real estate investing. I am still in the research stage and saving money while learning the ropes. I was wondering if most people who have gone the route of becoming real estate investors have started out by getting their real estate license themselves or have alternatively just partnered up with a strong real estate agent. Maybe both? Any thoughts appreciated.

Thanks!

If your goal is to become someone who earns the majority of their income through real estate than yes you want to be an agent. Access to deals, lower costs when you sell your own deals, commissions when you buy your own deals from the MLS, additional revenue sources working with or referring other clients..........The pros are endless. Get the license.
