VERIFYING LENDER BACKGROUND

Hi All, 

My agent recommended a lender. My agent works the firm with the most sales in last 12 months in my market and her firm has 5 star reviews. The lender works for major bank. I  verified this because I see her name on official bank website and I have her NMLS. The problem is the lender has no reviews on Zillow. How can I further verify that this agent is credible and legitimate? I just want to make sure I am working with trust worthy people.
