Looking to partner on my first couple deals

In one of Bearded Brandon's video podcast the other day showed a guy merrily strolling along a hillside as a comparison to starting a career as a real estate investor.

I've been around a lot of you and on many of your properties while you're rehabbing, but as I embark on doing MY own, I can't sleep thinking about everything.  Is it better to partner with someone or do it by yourself?

There are three, and only three, reasons why you partner:

1 - Your Partner does something you CAN'T do

2 - Your Partner does something you DON'T WANT to do. If you don't want to do it, you won't do it well)

3 - Your Partner does something you SHOULDN'T do.  Just because you CAN do something, doesn't mean you SHOULD

If your reason for partnering doesn't fall into one of the above three reasons to partner, your partnership is doomed to fail...so don't do it.

Partnerships should never be formed because of personal, or emotional relationships.
