Multi-family investing and loans?
Hello everyone. I am fairy new to the real estate investment lifestyle, and am thinking about getting into multi-family. My question is, what are the general requirements to get a commercial loan? 25% down? And what are the general rates? I know every area is different, but I'm just asking generally so I can start evaluating properties. Thanks in advance.

@Chris Quagliata - Listen to @Jaysen Medhurst he's right on the experience. I recently got a large commercial property under contract and was told by my lender that my experience/portfolio was a factor in getting approved. As these loans get bigger it's harder and harder to qualify on your own financials. It also helps to find lenders that will give more weight to the revenue and expenses on the property itself.
The national lenders I get loans from do just that. No W2s or tax returns required. They look at the cashflow of the property, your credit score and depending on the type of deal they like to see that you've done this before. The bigger banks are impossible, local and community banks are better... and these cashflow lenders are the best... at least for my goal of building a massive portfolio.
