Newbie from Long Island, looking for contacts in Jacksonville, FL

Hello everyone, new to this in Melville, NY (Long Island). I am interested in making contacts in the Jacksonville, FL area. Specifically, broker/agents, property management, mortgage/finance resources and other investors who are familiar with the area. Need to build a local team, get email alerts and access to off market properties so I may start analyzing deals. I am primarily interested in multi-family 2-4 units. Location TBD. Is the University a good area? Shore? Need help and advice to begin my business. Once I have some people in place I will take a trip to meet in person and tour the areas of interest.
