Criteria for selecting a realtor?
Hello BP community! I am looking to get into an out of state market within the next year and want to start putting together my “team” to put together some investment deals. I want to first start out with evaluating realtors. I am curious as to what criteria, if any, is used when researching realtors and narrowing down a good fit. Let me know your thoughts. Thank you!

@Brett Staniforth If you're looking to buy & hold at purchase prices that are not lowball, then look for a full-time agent who is familiar with what investors want.
If you're looking to lowball offers (<90% of asking price in my market), look for a desperate newbie who doesn't mind blasting out a ton of offers.
These have something like a 1 in 2,000 chance of success around here - or better yet, be prepared to find a solid agent who you can pay a reasonable fee for each offer that he sends out, because that newbie will figure out pretty quickly that you're wasting a lot of his time.
It takes me about 2 hours to write an offer and follow it through to its conclusion. I'd write those for $200.00 each.
Good luck!
