My First House Hack In Orlando - Looking To Network

Hey guys/gals,

I have officially watched all 301 podcasts and all of BP's books are on the way (hoping to finish them before the end of next month). I have just begun the first steps towards my first multi-unit house hack here in Orlando, FL, currently intending to utilize the VA Loan. I'm also helping a friend out doing the same thing, but he's utilizing the FHA Loan instead. I am already running into a speed bump (I started a new business, so lenders aren't a fan of self-employed income. Stupid oversight on my part). This made me realize I would like to connect with others here locally that have gone through this process already. I am looking to become a member of CFRI (Central Florida Real Estate Investors), and I looked up current BP events around me, and none seem to be associated with what I am doing. I might just coordinate my own and throw a grilled cheese party. :D As well, once I confirm funding for the first property, I would love to meet some of the real estate agents locally that are familiar with multi-family units! I film real estate videos as well, so maybe some of you have qualifying properties that I can use to put in my portfolio. I have a few I intend to film for free here in the first half of November.
