Mortgage rates increasing next week???

OK, so I know people talk about this all the time and everyone has their own opinions, but two separate individuals that I highly respect in the real estate field told me that mortgage rates are going up by the end of next week. I have my doubts of course, but what are everyone else's thoughts on this??

The Fed could raise rates, and mortgage rates could just as easily fall. While there is long term correlation, in the short term thst doesng nessecarily hold up.
