Still about 5-6 weeks, best case, till my Divorce is final but things are coming together.
Been keeping my eye on a few properties which will likely be gone but today I was talking to my boss, the owner of the company, and told him I was getting my RE License and intended to start investing in RE as soon as the divoce was final and I found a deal.
He instantly replied with "Well let me know when you do I've been looking to diversify my investments and I'd love to invest in RE with you. You've worked for me for 14 years and I know and trust you so be happy to invest with you!"

So I have my first Partner or private lender, depending on how we want to struture it, lined up and ready to go!
With my strong current W-2 and great credit and now him jumping at the chance to work with me I'm feeling really strong about 2019, even 4th QTR 2018 if I can get the Divroce to end quickly and smoothly, which it's on a decent course to do.

Things will be moving along soon!

    Thanks @Ned Carey @Joe M. & @Mike Dymski

We both know the risks. He’s a very smart guy with plenty of cushion. Even if we screwed up and lost on one he knows I’m the person that will get back up and keep pushing till we’re successful.

We have a great professional and personal relationship and I’m good at my job. Of course I will have to inform him that my goal is to not have to work for him anymore at some point in the next 3-5 years lol.
