NEW TO REAL ESTATE INVESTING
Let me start by introducing myself.
My name is Jacob Ferguson, I am married with one kid. I am currently stationed in San Diego California. I have one more year here then hopefully I transfer to either Texas or Tennessee to do my four years of shore duty then I am out. I have recently starting reading articles about real estate investing and since then I have been hooked.
My goal is to create multiple sources of income. I want to live financially free and I believe I can get closer to achieving that by investing in real estate if I can do it the correct way. correct me if I am wrong?
I'm wondering if anyone has experience with the VA loan? Would investing in a multi-family home be a good start? Renting out part of the house while I live in the other.
If you was in my shoes. Where would you start?
