How to Cash out on a house?

I am part owner of an LLC which holds our two rental dwellings. We bought them in cash and have proceeded to do some renovations on it. How do we get the money out to redeploy it elsewhere? On the podcasts, the term refinance is used frequently but I am not sure how it applies to this situation. Should we be looking for an actual loan? It is a mix of asset and cash flow lending?

Any help as far as what we should be looking to do to get the cash back out would be greatly appreciated.

@Daniel Silfer - since the property is held by a LLC you will be looking for a commercial loan. Requirements vary by lender but I would start asking around for local commercial lenders
