Hello All!

I am new to the real estate investment world and have been reading a bunch of real estate books and listening to bigger pockets podcasts almost every day. I am a CPA accountant for about 10 years now .  I opened up a part-time tax practice with my sister because i am always looking to grow and advance. She specializes in strictly real estate clients and after learning all the tax advantages you can get as a  real estate investor, i wanted to see what the hype was about in real estate investing. Since i started reading and listening to podcast, i have become obsessed listening to the different stories and what people have accomplished. I am excited to put all that i learned into action this fall. Before I actively look for an investment property, I am putting a plan in place because i feel like having a plan helps the process become less stressful. My first step is to find a lender and wanted advice if its best to go with a mortgage broker or deal with the lender themselves? I appreciate any feedback and look forward to talking to you all through this exciting process.
