I need some direction.

Hello BP!

I am a recent college grad in Political Science.  I am looking for a way to learn how to analyze investment deals. I am in the process of trying to get a job at a real estate firm here in San Antonio, and some knowledge is preferred. Will working for a real estate company as a realtor gain me this experience. I am done with my license in two months, or can knowledge be gained through books/podcast? As well I plan on going to San Antonio's next RENC meet up. What should I expect?  The CEO happens to be my friend and wants me to figure out how I can fit in the company so I just want to improve my chances and bring something of value to an already established team.

Very Respectfully,

Chanel A
