Well not literally. :-)

I am a new investor looking to begin wholesaling and flipping houses. I am hoping to find an experienced investor in the Metro Atlanta/Athens areas of Georgia who would be willing to help me get started. I have already spent countless hours on the forums/blogs and have come across an amazing amount of helpful & valuable information.

But, I would also love the opportunity to simply follow/shadow someone for a couple of weeks, take notes, and learn everything I can about how they do deals and how their business works on a day-to-day basis. Of course, I am also willing to help out in any way that I can.

My background is in the Executive Office Industry, so I have a good grasp of the multi-tasking and serving as a great support system for business functions. However, I realize that this is only a small part of completing a successful wholesale or rehab transaction.

If anyone is willing to help me out or can point me in the direction of someone who could, I would greatly appreciate it. Any other advice is also welcome.

Thanks

Hi Tershant,

I would suggest that you first find local real estate investments groups in your area with the objective of finding a mentor. Secondly, network in an efficient manner. Next, visualize what it is you want to accomplish in real estate, what you want from your mentor and what you can offer. I recently had to do this for myself and I found a gentleman who may mentor me after 2 meetings. He's busy, has plenty of knowledge and no time for non-sense which I appreciate. I hope it works out and I should know by next week but either way, I'm resilient.

This is only my opinion but you may have better luck finding a mentor through the local REI groups.

Lastly, stop with those corny, gimmicky thread titles...shenanigans. Haha

Good Luck!
