Does the Owner verify information on estoppel certificate or does your property manager or Realtor? Sorry if this comes off as a dumb question.

I’d want to do it on any property that you’re inheriting a tenant.

The idea is it’s a signed document from the tenant saying they pay $$ per month and have $$ in deposits. This prevents Amy confusion about different leases, agreements, etc.

The idea is it’s signed by the tenant - and should match the lease provided by the landlord. If there’s a difference, you need to be aware of it.
