Skills/Techniques that would be valued in RE
Hey everyone. I’m a 22 year-old from Chicago who is looking to obtain my Real Estate License as well as start investing in properties.
I figured someone here has some information on what different skills can be extremely valuable to have if you want a successful real estate career, business, etc. As an example, a good lawyer would have to be good at persuasion, research, finding clients, networking, and great vocabulary amongst the other things.
There are obvious skills that are valuable in real estate like being “driven” or “resourceful” but I’m thinking in terms of something a bit more tangible. I want to develop some fringe skills that would benefit my real estate career. Also if there would be a skill or trade I could learn in regards to current events and markets that would be somewhat of an advantage.
I’m open to any suggestions here along with any online education modules or books.
