Young 17 year old looking to learn the game

Hello everyone I’m thrilled that I’ve found this I currently am a senior in high school who works at a terrible Kroger that pays under 10 a hour I found that real estate is something I want to do I heard about wholesaling and that it’s possible to start with no money and work your way up I’m looking for a mentor also guidance from everyone who is experienced and is willing to share a little of there time to teach me. I’m hungry and I want to be big in real estate one day and I want to learn the game early so it can be a breeze when I’m older. Is it possible for me to do wholesales while I’m only 17?

@Brian Wadley - I love your enthusiasm! 17 is definitely not too young to start educating yourself about REI. Your best place to start is actually on your own rather than with a mentor. There is so much info here on BP and on the web in general. Start reading. Start blogging. Start going to local REI meetups. Become a sponge.

Also find ways to add value to your current job. Don't look at it as "a terrible Kroger that pays under 10 a hour";  reframe your thinking to "this is an awesome chance for me to learn how to serve and provide value to my company and to my customers".  Pay attention to all the ways you can put in the extra effort.  I promise you that those skills you learn and that work ethic you develop now will pay off greatly as you rise in your career.

I'm excited for your journey!  Way to make it happen.  Keep us posted!
