Proper etiquette as first time home buyer to real estate agent

I understand that in most cases the seller pays the real estate agent. I still wonder, is there and proper action as a first time home buyer when the agent is showing you properties? A gift?

Or is simply buying a property enough payment to that individual as they get there percentage?

Thanks all!

You don't need to worry about getting the agent a gift, a thank you note or positive review is more than enough
