As a Veteran, Chase offers free premium accounts (no monthly fee, free checks, free cashier's checks, etc) and has national presence, of course.  I would recommend Veterans look into Chase.

I also have a small community bank business account.  I have 18 in a small town and the tenants just walk down the street and deposit directly.  The tellers keep a stack of deposit slips for me under the counter.  For that, the tellers get a nice holiday treat and card from me every year.  It also has no monthly fee, but I pay $35 to order checks.

I wouldn't bank with Wells Fargo if they paid me.  Ethically and morally their business practices make me wanna puke.
