Where can I buy a landowner list? Where should I buy the list?

Hey folks!  My wife and I are hoping to buy a duplex in a few years.  In the meantime, we would like to manage a property for a landowner in exchange for reduced or free rent.  We hope this would give us the chance to see if we would like to be landlords long term.  

My question is about purchasing a landowner list.  I've been to listsource.com and it is an unsecured website.  I'm not too keen on putting my information on a website without decent security measures.   Can someone recommend a place to purchase a quality list?  Thanks!
