Trying to Transition From a Day Jobber to a Real Estate Investor?

I can certainly identify with this!  I once worked 3649 hours in a calendar year for my day job.  All the while I longed to be with my family instead of killing myself on the job site.  I decided that real estate investing was the way.  I began educating myself and when I was ready, I made a plan and acted on that plan.  My plan had two parts.  First, find a way to make money for my family's immediate needs.  Second, build a cash flowing investment portfolio.

The second part of my plan is pretty self explanatory, albeit easier said than done.  What I decided to do for the first part was to get my real estate license and sell real estate.   If you ask 100 investors if you should get your license, 50 will say yes and 50 will say no.  I am of the opinion that you do not need it to be a successful investor.  However, it has helped me in two ways.  First, I make money that is fairly reliable to help with family expenses while building my cash flowing portfolio.  Second, and most important in my opinion, I meet investors who have money and are looking for deals.  I cannot stress how important a network of investors is to your business.  I decided to specialize in working with investors.  I leverage all of the education I acquired learning how to be an investor and use it to help other investors.  Many investors are looking for brokers that understand their business and their needs.  There are very few of these brokers out there!  The law of supply and demand dictates that this will give you a major leg up in this business.

I highly recommend this strategy to anyone trying to transition out of a 9-5 job.  You can earn good money and make your own hours as a real estate broker.  I recommend searching out an experienced broker in your area who understands investing, and who preferably is an investor, and offer to work on their team.  The education you will receive is invaluable.

I  currently have team openings in Northwest Indiana.  I am happy to help and teach anyone looking to transition into a life of freedom through real estate.  If you think you are ready and would like to join my team, PM me and I will give you my contact info.
