Business Plan For Real Estate Business

Before you started your real estate businesses, how many of you sat down and actually wrote a business plan? If you did, what are some things that I need to cover in my plan?

I was going to focus on how I plan on acquiring properties, how I was going to market, and how to dispose of the properties. I was also going to set goals for both the short-term and the long-term.

Good post! I'm just starting out myself. Hope to get good advice from this discussion! I've heard a good idea would be to target a specific area. Are you looking to target just Slidell areas or are you non-specific?
