Chicago Landlord Class?

Has anyone taken a property management class in Chicago? What company did you take the class with? What was your experience like? Would you say it's necessary or a waste of time? I'm planning on buying a two unit in Chicago. I'll live in one and rent out the other. I planned on hiring a real estate attorney to help me with the process and I'm not sure if I need to take this class as well or not. Thank You!

Make sure to familiarize yourself with local landlord-tenant laws!  They can be strict.
