Hello All!

I am pretty new to real estate and excited to learn and invest. Five of us (family members) pooled a small amount of 10k to invest in real estate. Four out of 5 is located in the northern NJ area and the other is in Charlotte NC. One of us has an LLC. We're trying to figure out how to start up. As of now, we want to purchase a rental for some passive income. We've even considered partnering up with a more seasoned investor but some of them seem a bit turned off that its 5 people versus one. There is a lot to learn on our end - but does anyone have any advice?
