What are some of the books, material and actions that has gotten to to start or advanced your investing career?

 1. Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki.

I put this book off for quite sometime before i actually sat and read the whole thing.  The material is good start and meant to make you think but for some it doesn't contain enough meat. That is part of our problems, even i suffer from this, wanting the bone before looking in what the context the bone came. The other part is it helped start search out what asset class would be best for your temperament.

2. AMD stock hitting a record low and think maybe i could do this. The caused me to start looking at investments and start reading into what it would take for me to become and investor.
