How to get started Wholesaling
Hello BP members! I'm new to Bigger Pockets but I have been browsing for quite some time. I have a couple beginner questions that I would love help answering!
To get started wholesaling should you have a mentor? Or can I get started just as easily by taking my own steps and practicing? If you want to get started on your own what would be the first step? How would I go about making my first deal? Thanks in advance

@Keaton AllredI am also a newbie, but from Illinois :)
I would recommend reading Investing in Real Estate with No and Low Money Down by Brandon Turner. It may offer useful advice, although if you've already done a lot of research, it may not be worth it..
I am trying to find a mentor myself. That's what I think would be very beneficial to my REI learning experience. A good step is going to REIA and local REI meetings to network and meet possible mentors, for sure.
Hope that helps!
