Advice of First Property Investment

Hello everyone,

I recently joined and am amazed by the insightful information available on this platform. Everyone seems to be very encouraging and helpful.

Brief background about myself. I live in central jersey and I recently got my bachelors degree in accounting and am currently completing my masters degree in taxation as well as sitting for my CPA exams. I am a first year associate in public accounting.

I have always been interested in real estate property investing. I may not have the sufficient amount capital yet to start investing, but I am very eager to learn about what kinds of properties would be appropriate as an initial investment. From my research, I've come across a variety of rental properties including single apartment units and single family houses. I understand that there are many crucial factors that must be taken into account when researching for potential rental property.

I am looking forward to buying my first real estate property by the end of this year. I will be working in the metro NY area and live in a rental property myself. I am looking for any advice on the type of property investment which will help me learn more about real estate investing and provide me with a great start in this venture!

Thank you in advance!
