FHA Owner Occupancy Military

I purchased a home with the use of the FHA home loan program four months ago. When I purchased the home it was my intention to live there for 4 years as I thought my fiancé would be re stationed in Colorado Springs with the Air Force. We just got orders to move to Florida. Do I need to get married to my fiancé and provide the Morgage company Military orders? Can I write a letter of hardship that living in Colorado while my fiancé is stationed in Florida would be difficult? I want to rent the property out and not sell it as we plan to move back here as soon as we can. What advice do you have? Thank you

There are no issues at all and no need to write a letter to your mortgage company. FHA guidelines deal with "your intent to owner occupy for at least 1 yr" and your state that is/was the case. I would suggest documenting your actions in a file in the rare instance that your file is audited

Rent your house and wait to marry your fiance' when the time is right for the both of you
