THE THREE NEEDS TO INVEST IN RAL ESTATEI

There are three components that are necessary to start your investing career off on the right foot.

Education: This is the most important aspect. You can't drive a car without learning the rules of the road. College degrees are essential for certain careers. Investing is the same concept. There is so much to learn you don't even know the right questions to ask. I spent my first year being a sponge. I attended REIA groups, joined associations, read books and listened to podcasts. There was so much I didn't know. I didn't know what I didn't know.

Credit:  Credit is not the end of the world, but having good credit certainly helps you be able to use traditional funding.  The great thing is while you are educating yourself you can work on repairing your credit.  It will make things much easier.

Money:  Of course we talk about you don't need money but it does help.  To network and find people with money who will trust you with there's, you will need a track record.  Experience will come in to play.  My first two deals I partnered with an experienced investor.  Learned a ton and was able to build my own credibility.

Keep learning and grow and seek advice from those who you respect.  Your strategy today maybe completely different in 6 months.  Keep an open mind and never stop learning.  There are so many strategies I learn something every day.

Have fun and get out of the rat race.
