Need Help Making an Ugly House a Bit Nicer

So, what do you think?  A true beauty, I know.

The inside is getting better.  We're rehabbing.  What I want to do is increase 'curb appeal'.  A few options I'm considering:

1. Painting the brick

2. Pulling the shingles and replacing with siding or other

3. Stuccoing over the brick, and possibly the shingled area too (pulling shingles first, of course)

4. Landscaping (but not sure what to do with that yet

So, if you have ideas, I'm all ears.  Thanks a bundle!

PS - I don't have a huge amount of money to spend on this.  Let's pretend 10K or so.
