Investor friendly RE agents in North and South Carolina
Hello everybody! I was just curious... I will be needing the help of a few investor friendly RE agents in North and South Carolina. I'm on the west coast but want to start buying online auction properties in these areas with the hopes of wholesaling. I'm completely unfamiliar with these beautiful states but am trying to learn :) Specifically, right at this moment I'm looking at a property in Liberty, SC and one in Duncan, SC. I need help pulling comps mainly. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks so much!
stephanie
Hi Stephanie, I'm not familiar with that part of the state, I'm in Florence ,S.C. closer to Myrtle Beach and Columbia area. I'm sorry we can't help this time. Good luck. Jeff
thanks @Jeffery Harris !

I would love to help but I am new to this and only know New York, Florida and Arizona. Good luck and I wish you much success.
@Stephanie Howard are you planning on purchasing the home on auction and list "AS-IS" with an agent?
I dont do any deals in Liberty or Duncan, but you need to be aware of SC investor Tax. This can be a heavy tax if not calculated correctly in your numbers. Typically an non-owner occupied home is subject to 6% of the appraised value times the millage. Basically the rule of 3, if owner occupied pays $500 a year in taxes you will pay close to $1500. All counties vary on the millage, but the 6% is the same. This is not the case for North Carolina. NC is same rate for both.
Last make sure you figure all your auction fee's into your numbers. They add up fast and can break a deal fast.
Good luck!
I'm in NC if you need some help in the Raleigh area.
I'm curious though, what exactly is your strategy with these properties? If they're auctions then most other investors will have already seen it.
Thank you @David Chwaszczewski I will hopefully be wholesaling to other investors. Would the SC Investor Tax still be applied?
thanks, @Jim Brewer
I'm currently trying to put together a couple wholesale deals in the NC myself. In the Charlotte, NC area. I made a couple calls today to locate a agent. If I get something solid I will shoot you their info.
that would be wonderful. thanks @Maurice Nixon!
@Maurice Nixon,@Stephanie Howard here's a quick tip. Go to meetup.com and do a search for real estate investing meetups in whatever area. Join each group & you will easily find investor friendly agents in these groups.
If you need comps quickly, Redfin & Zillow (not zestimate) show all the recent sold properties near the subject property. Redfin gives the mileage also. At least they do these things for my market.
I work in the Raleigh and Wake County Area if you need some help in this area drop me a line. Best Of Luck!
@Stephanie Howard @Maurice Nixon I am a realtor in the South Charlotte, Fort Mill area. If you have any questions or need any assistance, don't hesitate to reach out to me.
thank you @Daniel Dempsey
