so i'm guessing real estate agents get the scoop on a property before it is posted online, so  i guess what i'm trying to ask, is it better to get your leads through an agent rather than a site like zillow? im just wondering because after doing some research in a few markets i see that good properties don't even last a week on the site. would having good connections with an agent give you first dibs per se?

@Andrew McIntyre That is the reason why I chose to get my license when I started investing in real estate. Other than that you can spend some time really getting to know the REO agents and building a relationship with them.
