I'm in need of starting a LLC residing in the Chicago area what are the recommended places or site to make this happen?

You can find the forms on Cyberdrive illinois. Then you can go to their washington st location in front of the daily plaza to submit it in person. If you pay the additional $50 you can get it expedited and ready in a day for a Series LLC but if you just want a regular LLC then you can do the whole thing online from cyberdrive. If you plan on doing multiple properties then check out the Series LLC. It is higher initial cost but each subsequent LLC under the parent is only $50 or $100 expedited. That is the structure we use but consult your attorney to find out what structure works best for you. You will also need an operating agreement and an EIN number which you can submit for here.
