Hello BP Community perhaps you can help me along with my decision process. I figured this would probably be the best place to post this. Ok so long story short active duty military, less than three months out from retiring, I am all about getting into the real estate market in fact I would like to try my hand at buy and hold then maybe dab a bit in the other areas of real estate. So my challenge is that I am still located overseas and I have found it to be a tremendous challenge to find folks to work with once they know I am not stateside. I just wanted to know if anyone was in this position before and how did things work out? Part of me thinks since I will be going to school once I retire to wait till I get stateside and just learn as much as I can but the other have is like no you done enough waiting let's get hot!! Of course I have like a million things going on with preparation for a transition and prep for school. Anyway I am pretty confident my situation is not unique someone out their has went thru what I have. Hope to hear something soon.

I just retired last year and my recommendation would be just wait, it's only 3 months anyways. If your just starting out you definitely want hands on and face to face deals. Read up now and hit the ground running once stateside. BOL!
