What to do at the County Courthouse?

Aloha Everyone,

I hear a lot of mention of the local County Courthouse in various videos to look up information.  Once at the County Courthouse ... what are ALL the things that should be done (no stone unturned) while there?  Who are the points of contacts (departments)?  What info am I looking for?
