Marketing REO's

Hello everyone
How soon do you normally start marketing your REO. Is is ok to market it as soon as you send in your bid or should you wait until you have it approved. I have buyers who are looking in certain areas and I am looking for their specifications are. But suppose its not something that they are willing to buy. Should I just market it to them and then wait, or do I market to all my buyers and on free sites to cover all my bases.

Thanks for any input.

Drenda

You can't market a property you do not own or do not have equitable interest in. Since it is an REO, how do you intend on selling it to YOUR buyer sinc ethey will not allow an assignment of contract? What is your strategy?
