FINALLY!!!!!
I've been wishing for a forum like this and thank the heavens I'm finally here!
Being a wife, mother of three kiddos, middle school teacher and taking care of my real estate clients is a constant juggle, but somehow it gets done. Being a real estate agent and helping my investor clients for years obviously eventually stirs up the question: Why am I not investing in properties myself? I want to make the transition from education to full time investor, but most of my savings are in a teachers retirement which I can't withdraw unless I resign from the district (my mistake). I would like to keep working while I obtain my first investor loans since they require you have a steady income, but that won't work since I can't withdraw my teachers retirement.
So my question I'm putting out there is: is anyone familiar with the unique nature of teacher retirement withdrawals and are there any loop holes? I'm beginning my research on this matter and any input would be appreciated!

See if you can transition your money into a self directed IRA...I don't know much about this. Good luck!
