I found couple pre-forclosure state properties

Hi,

I found couple pre-foreclosure properties on the web but it's been in the list for past 3-4 weeks.

I heard that those properties are on high demand. 

Does this mean that there must be some kind of defects in these properties?

I think there must be reasons that people don't jump into them.

Am I missing anything here?
