DBA name, can someone explain the real estate keywords?

Hi guys,

I plan on renting two apartments and offering 'services' for an aging real estate mentor. That's the basics of the 'business plan'. The 2 homes are under my personal name (loans) and some day they will be moved to a LLC. When signing up for the IRS EIN, i was asked to enter the DBA (Which isnt set up yet). I would like all checks get written to the DBA [and hopefully will transition right to a LLC of the same name].

My question is this:  Can someone explain the common real estate keywords and how/why theyre used? What type of names would be used in my situation (landlord/consultant)

For instance, I've seen:

Realty

Real Estate

Management

Holdings

Investments  (not allowed in my state)

etc.

I did not want to imply that i was a broker/realtor, but wanted a professional name related to the line of work. Any advice appreciated!
