I hope my subject line doesn't deter responses, but I felt it was the most appropriate. I was laid off from my job a few weeks ago and have been trying to come up with ideas about how to use this time off between jobs to move forward with my real estate investing. I would love to get some ideas. To give more info, I have no money to invest (need to keep my cash on hand in case it takes me a while to find something). I do have 401k, which I was thinking about moving to a self directed 401k. I remember listening to a podcast about seller financing... maybe use the time to get my real estate license. Try to see if I can tag along with a local investor to learn from them (what could I offer so it's a win-win?, how would I find someone?). These are the ideas I have had so far, but would love additional input. Thanks in advance!
