Hi! First flip in Massachusetts

Hi everybody,  I just bought my first house.  It is in Franklin Ma.  I am going to flip the house.  i am going to move in and live there for one year.  The reason for living there for one year is it gives me time to do the remodel my self while I am living there and I am going to get into a lower tax bracket for having lived there for a year.  Wish me luck!  This is a little overwhelming!

Thanks,

Joe

@Joe Weinstein - here are some names to get you started:

plumber: the one I used last and liked is not around... let me check a bit on this.

landscaper: for landscape install, bigger stuff - Franklin Landscape Construction. for stuff like mowing, cleanups, etc. Colligan Landscaping

pool: no ideas on this one

electrician: Jeff Walls - can be hard to get hold of, but is easy going, does good work, reasonable prices. Also, Carlos Marini, I've not used him but a friend who's also an investor highly recommended him.

Re @Paul Timmins idea on REIA - excellent advice - the Black Diamond group is great - no charge, no sales pitch, lots of people who really know their stuff - they meet on the 3rd Tuesday of every month, alternating between Waltham and Worcester. http://www.blackdiamondrealestateinvestors.com/

This site won't let me post their phone numbers, but post back here if you can't locate these folks and I'll get you the info another way.
