Hello everyone my name is Marcus, and I am a brand new real estate investor in Dallas, Texas. Im in the very beginning stages of starting my real estate investing business and I was curious if anyone had advice on where I should start from step 1 ? Should I start marketing to motivated sellers without a business identity ? Or get a business structure first ? And feel free to add any other tips for just now starting out. Thanks

Just get a gmail email:  MarcusBuysHousesDallas  and a google voice number.  You put the google voice number on your marketing material.  Cell numbers come and go but your google voice number can stay with you.

Forget about LLCs etc until you are making the big $$ and holding a few rentals. Not even for the first few rentals. You can move them into the LLC later.

Get deals now, fool with non-income earning activities later.
