New in Maryland. Question about licenses

Hi everybody,

My partner and I are starting a real estate investing company in MD. We are currently going through the process of starting an LLC. We are curious, however, if we need to obtain a business license in order to proceed. I've contacted the state's real estate commission and the taxation and assessments division, but I could not get any clear answers. I was wondering if anybody else knows. Thanks in advance!

-Shaun
