Found a great deal... but didn't get it

I found a great deal on a duplex and was very excited about it. Went to see it, got home and texted the real estate agent and said I was interested in making an offer. He texted back and said it just went under contract that very evening. The property had been on the market for over 200 days and then they dropped the price last week. I am disappointed, but I will keep trying - I am determined to find a great first deal!

Sorry about that, but, it happens frequently. Focus your energy on snagging the next deal. Now that you have done some leg work, the next opportunity will benefit from your experience and exposure to the aesthetics and financials of the lost deal.

Good luck on your REI journey and please let us know of your success in bagging the 1st elusive deal!
