Hi everyone i am new to the real estate business and would like to learn everything i can about investing. I am at the edge of purchasing a 2,000$ course but i am reading alot about how a mentor is the best way to go. Does anyone know how to find these mentors that are willing to teach such a person like myself that is just getting started into real estate?. Also i am from (North New Jersey) if anyone on here is around my same area please let me know i am in desperate need to get started and don't know if i should just buy the course.

i would first listen to as many BP podcast on whatever topic your interested in, whether it be wholesaling, buy/hold, fix flip. Then attend a local REIA meetings in NJ (there are tons). From there network and look for investors that have the same interest as you.

Always try and leverage free resources before paying for any course.
